Introduction
An important element of basically all Vanderlande Material Handling Solutions are Workcells or Workstations. To enable this we have Workcells products, as key building block within our Platforms, Market Leading Solutions and Functional Modules. Workcells are applied within different market leading solutions for the different market segments Airports, Warehousing and Parcel. Some examples for Workcells are picking stations, both automatic (by means of robots) and manual.
Customer needs differ across the market segments, technical possibilities are unlimited and the portfolio is growing. Stakeholder complexity is high as stakeholders are located in all departments and customer centres. Therefore a cross-platform global Workcells roadmap is required to set the right priorities for Vanderlande to be successful.
