Your Position
Our Technical Trainers are outstanding ambassadors of Vanderlande and exceed at bridging the learning gap for engineers. As Technical Trainer you are responsible for the design, development and delivery of technical training. For both our customers and our Vanderlande employees. Our technical trainers are experts at embracing innovation and mastering technology. They are passionate about improving others and representing our products, team and organisation.
Your Department
Our Veghel based department, Global Learning & Content Development, is responsible for customer training and documentation delivery for Airports, Parcel and Warehouse projects world-wide. The department also works for business unit Technology to deliver all manuals in product development. The team consists of around 35 professionals, working from several offices world-wide. They are dedicated to deliver an optimal knowledge transfer to our customers and Vanderlande employees to understand how to build systems, how systems work, and how they can be safely operated and maintained.
Responsibilities

Deliver technical customer training courses for mainly Warehouse Solutions and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems.

Develop, amend and revise training materials.

Monitor knowledge levels within existing and new Customer Service Centres and, if required, proactively support with training.

Cooperate with R&D in development of new products, product life-cycle issues and to identify essential competences.

Evaluate training effectiveness.
You will work in a multi-disciplinary environment, where you frequently interact with sales, project teams, engineering, R&D and service operations.
Your Profile

Higher technical education like HTS or PTH, preferably IT/electrical/electronic;
-
Experience in training and digitalization (e-learning, augmented reality etc);
-
3-5 years experience in the field of automated industrial systems, preferably in a service environment;

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
-
Proven ability to lead and contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, fast-changing and sometimes unpredictable work environment, prioritizing accordingly and escalating appropriately.

Field experience and experience with computer programs and diagnostic tooling;

Fluent in English both written and spoken, other languages are an important plus;

Results oriented, determined and confident;

Proven analytical and problem-solving skills;

Prepared to travel abroad up to 35% of your time.
