As we expand with a new in-house training center near our headquarters in Marietta, GA, this role is key to ensuring our engineers and customers are equipped to operate and maintain our systems safely and effectively.

About the Role

As a Technical Trainer, you will deliver engaging and effective training programs to employees and customers across North America. Working closely with our global training teams in The Netherlands, you’ll play a vital role in building technical expertise and promoting safety standards.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on sharing knowledge, enjoys hands-on technical work, and wants to grow within a global organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical training programs (approx. 30% theory, 70% hands-on) to internal teams and customers.
  • Train engineers on the safe maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems used in conveyor and sortation systems.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve training effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with global training teams to align content and standards.
  • Support the development of the new training center and contribute to its long-term success.

Your Department

  • Based in Marietta, GA, our North American HQ supports projects across the US, Canada, and Mexico.
  • The new training center will serve as the North American extension of our global training organization headquartered in The Netherlands.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or 5+ years of relevant technical experience.
  • Background in IT, electrical, or mechanical systems preferred.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Experience in industrial automation or similar environments is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to tailor instruction to various learning levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); experience with digital training tools is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be comfortable delivering demo lessons as part of the interview process.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must pass a background check to access secured customer sites (as required by law).

Travel Expectations

  • Up to 30% travel annually, primarily within the continental US.
  • Increased travel expected during the first 1–2 years for onboarding, certification, and while the training center is under development.
  • Occasional international travel may be required.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a global leader in automation and logistics technology.
  • Help shape the future of technical training in North America.
  • Work in a collaborative, innovative, and supportive environment.

If you're a dynamic trainer with a technical edge and a passion for empowering others, we’d love to hear from you!

Demo lesson

  • Teaching a demo class is part of the application to demonstrate your technical and teaching skills.
