Your responsibilities

In this pivotal individual contributor role, reporting directly to the Manager Content Development & Training, you'll be at the forefront of driving understanding and adoption of Vanderlande’s cutting-edge products and solutions among our valued customers, dedicated partners, and talented internal teams. You will create key assets for our technical training curriculum, crafting structured learning paths and invaluable resources that truly address the needs of our diverse audience. This role offers the flexibility of being virtual as well as in the office, with occasional travel to connect with the team and stakeholders. You work closely with Subject Matter Experts, Engineers, Learning Consultants, Technical Trainers and Technical Authors to turn complex knowledge into clear, accessible, and engaging learning solutions—ranging from digital modules to handson training.

  • No two days are the same: one day you’re creating interactive digital content, the next you’re on the training floor testing new learning formats. 

Your tasks

  • Design, develop, and deliver technical training content for Vanderlande employees and customers on mechanical, electromechanical, controls, and systemrelated topics.  

  • Build digital learning solutions—such as webbased training, virtual classrooms, animations, and interactive modules—in codevelopment with Technical Authors, Trainers, and SMEs.  

  • Keep content relevant by collaborating with Technology, Engineering, R&D, and Service teams to track product and system updates.  

  • Test and update training materials and digital learning assets to ensure quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.  

  • Evaluate learners’ knowledge development and adjust training approaches to maximize impact.  

  • Act as a knowledge partner by supporting capabilitybuilding initiatives, identifying learning needs, and contributing to innovation in training methods and tools.  

  • Support the onboarding of engineers and service teams by offering clear, structured, and accessible learning experiences. 

Your profile

  • A technical background combined with learning experience (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, IT, PTH).  

  • Affinity with digital learning—experience with elearning, AR/VR, or multimedia tools is a plus.  

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.  

  • A proactive, curious, and learnerfocused mindset.  

  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.  

What do we offer​

This position offers a competitive salary range of €3.675,00 to €5.050,00 per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale. 

On top of your fixed salary you’ll receive the following secondary benefits:​

  • 40 vacation days (20 statutory days and a flexible budget worth 20 days).​
