As an integral part of the Operations / Supply Chain department, you will have responsibility for the multi building operation consisting currently of 4 Warehouse locations in Veghel and Erp. At those locations, goods are received from our own factories as well as external suppliers, stored, picked, packed, consolidated and eventually shipped out to destinations all over the world.
You will thrive at leading a team by having responsibility for the performance and the welfare of the team members. You will challenge the Supervisors to achieve the best possible return by systematic work according to established procedures and departmental processes, and by setting the right priorities. Quality, quantity, timeliness and cots are important factors. In addition, you will pursuing of continuous improvement of the department, all related relevant issues and the overall satisfying outcome.
Your qualifications and skills
If you’re an experienced, enthusiastic and versatile Warehouse Operations Manager, you will excel at:
planning, preparing and coordinating the right priorities at the right time and guiding your team in decisions.
Ensuring on-time and complete global deliveries while meeting world class standards.
Balancing the workload, looking ahead, making plans and scenarios and match that with the workforce, space and tools.
aligning with our stakeholders (such as sales, engineering, production and suppliers)
managing deadlines, milestones and improvement projects
both oral and written Dutch and English (other languages would be advantageous).
You should have a working knowledge of:
Minimum of 5 years in a similar environment leading a team by steer to innovate and improve and bring this with enthusiasm to the team.
Warehouse Management Systems knowledge and the Office package.
Methods like Lean Manufacturing (TPS or 5S) (having been educated to at least Bachelor degree logistics or Business level).
