We are looking for motivated UAE National students pursuing Civil Engineering degrees who are interested in gaining practical exposure within steel structure works, site engineering, and project execution activities in a dynamic engineering environment.
Role Overview
The Civil Engineering Trainee – Steel Structure Works will support the engineering and project teams in day-to-day technical and site-related activities while gaining practical exposure to structural steel works, site coordination, inspections, technical documentation, and project execution activities within airport logistics projects.
This opportunity is ideal for students looking to gain industry experience and practical engineering exposure alongside experienced professionals.
What are my responsibilites
- Support the Engineering and Project teams in daily site and technical activities.
- Assist with reviewing structural steel drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Support site inspections, installation activities, and progress reporting related to steel structures.
- Assist with tracking project updates, snagging items, and site coordination activities.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams when required.
- Support preparation of reports, checklists, and project documentation.
- Observe and assist with quality and safety compliance activities on site.
- Follow company safety, quality, and operational procedures at all times.
What do you need to qualify for the role?
- UAE National (Family Book required).
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Interest in steel structures, construction, and engineering project environments.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and site activities is an advantage.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or related engineering software is a plus.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop within a practical engineering environment.
- Fluent in English.
