Your position
Within Engineering you are the colleague who is responsible to make engineering easier with standardized products and processes in clever tooling. Together with Technology and Engineering, you determine which products and processes should be standardized for the different businesses. Based on project experiences and products from Technology, you translate this in clear application rules and standard tooling solution for project engineering to create layouts, schematics, and project deliverables. You are the expert between all disciplines and departments gaining the knowledge from project to project and translate this into lessons learned and finally translate this in the right content in the tooling for your discipline. The scope is multidisciplinary, with focus on EM electro mechanical. The affinity for tooling and other disciplines is a pre. We expect you to focus on customer needs as well as cost of execution and service.

You will report to the Group Leader Engineering of the Engineering Support Office within the Engineering department. Job location is Veghel.
Your department
The Engineering Support Office (ESO) is responsible for all supporting activities towards our Engineering department. Firstly, they drive standardization on engineering level, covering development and maintenance of tooling for engineering. Also, it manages our custom-built Engineering Suite Of Tools, which enables Vanderlande Engineers to use standard building blocks as part of a system. The team consists of mechanical, controls, and electrical engineers, each managing their own part of standardization. Furthermore, they act as liaison between Technology and Engineering, both in our projects as well as in development and upgrading of equipment, and New Product Introduction.
Your profile
You have an education in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
Furthermore, you have/are:
- Proactive, pragmatic, and interested in technology
- Able to operate easily in and over teams and departments
- Analytical mindset: you are able to analyze and structure highly divers information into tangible solutions and plan regard deliverables
- A multidisciplinary way of thinking (interfacing with mechanical and software)
- Affinity with engineering software and programming
- Communicative and proactive,
- Good command of the English language is required
- Team player
What we offer
This position offers a competitive salary range of €3.600 to €4.500 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
