Description of assignment
To accelerate the adoption of Low Code tools within our organisation, we aim to better understand how employees design and build their own apps and automations. This internship explores the recurring design patterns, layouts, and functionalities used by makers, and translates these insights into reusable templates that simplify the development process.
The issue arises from the steep learning curve many new users face when starting with Low Code platforms. By identifying common behaviors and preferences, we can reduce this barrier and improve productivity. The impact is a more confident and efficient user base, empowered to digitize processes independently.
Research Question: How can we design reusable Low Code templates that reflect real user behaviours and accelerate adoption across the organisation?
Department description
The Digital Acceleration Team supports innovation and digital transformation across the organisation. We consult, co-develop, and enable employees to build Power Platform solutions that are secure, compliant, and scalable.
As an intern, you will work in a collaborative and creative environment alongside experts in Low Code, user enablement and governance. You will be involved in real projects and have the freedom to experiment and learn.
Tasks/responsibilities
- Research and analyse existing Power Apps and Power Automate flows
- Identify common design patterns and user preferences
- Co-create reusable templates based on findings
- Validate usability with stakeholders
- Document template usage and provide guidance
- Contribute to adoption strategy through content creation
Your profile
- Affinity with IT and digital tools, especially Low Code platforms
- Passion for user-centred design and simplifying complex processes
- Creative mindset with structured research and prototyping skills
- Basic experience with design tools like Figma or Clipchamp
- Strong communication skills in English
- Proactive, self-starting attitude and collaborative spirit
- *Mandatory enrolment to a Dutch Education System & resident of The Netherlands.
