What will you be doing?
As a Project Network Engineer you will be working alongside a talented team of IT experts and stakeholders to deliver the best possible results for our customers. As the network engineer, you will ensure that our solutions are delivered according to the highest standards, while also collaborating with the IT architect, (lead) engineers and the service desk.
Responsibilities

Consult the project management with respect to the network design and procurement of the correct network equipment;
-
Installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of customer-specific IT Network infrastructure and VPN solutions for new and existing customers;
-
Error analysis and troubleshooting during and after project execution;
-
Expansion, upgrade and updates of the network infrastructure;
-
Participation in the specification, review and development and standardization of new and existing IT network solutions.
What do we ask from you?
-
Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field, e.g. Computer Science or Information Technology
-
8 years of work experience in industrial IT network implementations.
-
You have experience in (core) switching, firewalls and VPN solutions
-
Cisco certification Professional level – CCNP Routing and Switching, Security and Wireless (L2/L3, HSRP, SSO, Stacking/SVL, VTP, NAT and ACL, Failover setups)

Equipment Cisco 9xxx series, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Cisco WLC
-
Experience in debugging/fixing network/VPN issues remotely
-
Experience with Checkpoint GAIA firewall is an advantage.
-
Experience with Fortinet and/or other brands is an advantage
-
Experience in various wireless solutions is an advantage
-
Have a positive, hands on and can-do attitude;
-
Be fluent in English (written and verbal);
-
Able to work remote and on site (various travel length, on average 10%);
-
Be willing and able to travel worldwide.
About the team
You will be part of the ICT Projects department, which is responsible for implementing and supporting the customer IT infrastructure. The IT infrastructure is an integral part of the automated material handling systems that we provide to our customers. The ICT projects department develops the IT infrastructure products and processes used for the customer implementations, implements various customer solutions worldwide and helps the support departments with the lifecycle management of the customer thereafter. You will play a significant role in our delivery of our diverse services.
In this position, you will be part of a dynamic team that implements the ICT Infrastructure during project execution for our customers worldwide. You will work closely with fellow ICT engineers that are responsible for the product development and / or the service and support of the customer systems.
