Investigate a strategic operational management issue of Vanderlande when it comes to multi-year globally forecasting and balancing of workload. In this there are strategic elements (why) as well as how to organize, measure and allocate. Furthermore, the scope of what could be added, investigating which areas are most critical to accurately forecast.
Corporate development is responsible for development of Strategy and execution of strategy through major Change Programs. Other core responsibilities are M&A and Corporate Venturing. Next to this it supports certain Toyota Advanced Logistics Group activities. In general, it is supporting the CEO and his Management board. You will be working on projects in the above context. Partly independently and partly supporting others, or teams.
Tasks / responsibilities
Making a report on a certain investigation question, after collecting relevant information. Making a logic (argued) choice out of many possible solutions and validating this solution.
- Investigating and structured mind set.
- Strong English communication skills (corporate language)
- Logical thinking and able to verbally and in presentation formulate your thoughts. This also includes understanding of and ability for:
- Strategic conceptual thinking
- Operational Management thinking
- Data analytics thinking
- Knowledge of tools like Excel, and/or forecast related tools
