Vanderlande Engineering Night: Mechanical Project Engineer & Lay-out Engineer

Have you always wanted to know how the role of an engineer looks like at Vanderlande? The Vanderlande Engineering Nights gives students and recent graduates the opportunity to become digitally acquainted with the organization and learn more about engineering roles that are interesting for you.

The program includes a company introduction, followed by a presentation about the relevant role with Q&A. On Monday 17 May we will be talking about Mechanical Project Engineers and Lay-out Engineers. We conclude this evening with a virtual tour of throughout our Innovation Centre.

We have limited spots available for the Vanderlande Engineering Nights. Therefore we are unfortunately forced to make a selection among the registrations. You will be informed whether you have obtained a spot for the evening in question.

Mechanical Project Engineer

Would you like to contribute to the logistics performance of A-brands like Amazon worldwide? Building systems that can handle a variety of products, from E-Commerce to packages and from flyers to carton boxes, together with enthusiastic team members that handle Hardware and Controls? Dealing with day to day challenges like capacity requirements, variety of products handled, and interacting with equipment suppliers while meeting deadlines and budget? If so, the Mechanical Project Engineering role could the one you are looking for.

Lay-out Engineer

As a Lay-out Engineer, you have the opportunity to work on interesting, international projects together with a multidisciplinary team of engineers. Your department is responsible for the design, specification, commissioning and testing of material handling systems for our customers. As a Lay-out Engineer, you will develop the 3D lay out for the material handling system solution. Current Lay-out Engineers state that if you really like to puzzle, this role will definitely fit you.
