Job Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to join us to deliver people services for our Singapore/SEA branch including recruiting, employment relations, compensation & benefits, HR administration and learning and development. The generalist has a strong local presence with broad knowledge on various day-to-day processes, acting as the service-oriented face of HR to the business and its employees.

Your Role

  • Serves as a key contact point for employees and managers to resolve queries and personnel-related challenges and give guidance on the key activities and processes within the yearly HR cycle

  • Responsible for HR administration (employment records, payroll, insurance)

  • Provides guidance on LR/ER (Labour & Employee Relations)-related activities and resolution of employee relations related cases

  • Uses data, tools and solutions to help people leaders manage their teams

  • Actively contributes to create a great employee experience for managers for issues being the single point of contact for a small and growing Singapore team

  • Provides proactive advise on operational and tactical level on (potential) people issues and challenges

  • Drives employee engagement and well-being initiatives for overall SG team

  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of HR processes and service delivery, by being the voice of the local business needs: listening to the voice of the customer, while understanding and complying with global frameworks.

  • Being an ambassador of the HR transformation and adoption of the HR Service Delivery model within the business

About you

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent degree.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in an HR Advisor/Generalist role

  • Strong HR Policy & Administration working knowledge and local legal frameworks and regulations

  • Knowledge of and experience with  common HR practices in the fields of employee relations, talent & learning, performance management, hr analytics and compensation & benefits

  • HR Technology and data savvy (e.g. Excel and Workday)
