Department:
There are multiple disciplines within ICT to support our internal organization. One of these teams is the ICT Operations and Core Services team. This team consists of the Infrastructure, Workplace, Assetmanagement, Project Management, Collaboration tooling and ICT Service Centre & Repro teams.
In this job you will be working at the ICT Service Centre and be responsible for supporting our internal employees. In this roll the ICT Service Centre supports, together with local ICT contacts, 8400 workplaces around the world. The ICT Service Centre is a skilled services centre responsible for logging and handling of tickets. You will be picking up calls and tickets in the ticket system, you ask the right questions to get to the bottom of the problem and try to resolve it.
Job Description:
As an ICT Support Engineer you are driven to provide the best possible IT customer service. You have a broad understanding of topics related to end-user support your focus will be on network and security related topics. This will result in a variety of tickets, leading from hardware, to Windows and even to application specific issues. But you will help the first line to develop on network related topics like with Firewall, (W)LAN (HP Aruba) and remote access.
Your responsibilities:

As ICT Support engineer you analyze and resolve incidents or service requests and contribute to resolving problems while supporting our international Vanderlande colleagues worldwide within regular office hours.

As Senior member of the team you will also use your knowledge to guide others to resolve tickets and service requests efficiently and try to think of routine tasks to automate together with second line engineers and/or specialists.
Your profile:
As an ICT Support Engineer you are a team player looking to make our department everyday better. You understand that automation is needed in a fast growing organization and it saves time for the ICT Support team. Your communication skills, both verbal and written, strong for an international company of many different offices around the world with different types of cultures.
Competences:

Minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar job.

Knowledge of FMIS like TOP desk
-
Understanding of campus LAN/Wi-Fi technologies. Preferably knowledge of Aruba switches, access points & Aruba ClearPass.

Understanding of network automation is an advantage. Preferably knowledge of Ansible.

You are social, service oriented, customer friendly and have strong communication skills

English is the main language being able to read/write/speak Dutch is beneficial.
