Your Global Team
Master Data Management is globally organized (Americas, EMEA, APAC) within the Central Data Organization and a major contributor of Business Support within Vanderlande.
The Central Data Organization focusses on the further professionalization of Vanderlande’s information needs to facilitate and support the company’s objectives worldwide. In a fast-growing, complex international environment we focus on one way of working, digitalization and automation.
Master Data Management is responsible for managing the world-wide Master Data of 8 Master Data Objects based on Vanderlande’s Global Data Governance Policy. There is a high degree of collaboration and interaction with Business Domain Owners, Business Domain Data Stewards, Business Domain Architects and Capability owners within the Finance Business Domain and fellow Master Data Stewards and Master Data Administrators.
Your responsibilities
As accounting MD Steward, you will be the subject matter expert for Financial, Organizational and Project Master Data within the Vanderlande global organization.
You will need to align with stakeholders primarily in the Finance, Master Data domain and IT domain. You will support business improvements and drive implementation of accounting master data solutions. You will be a driving force in ensuring master data quality, enabling correct financial reporting.
What do we ask from you?
If you’re an experienced finance specialist with a broad experience with data challenges, you will excel at:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and relationship building at all mid-senior levels of the organization and specifically with stakeholders.

Communication in the English language, both oral and written. Dutch is an advantage.

Bringing people together in teams and decision meetings, by coordinating and facilitating them with respect for local cultures.

Keeping the overview in complex structures and working accurately
-
Being flexible in travelling internationally for a minimum of 5% of the time.
You should have a working knowledge of:
-
Accounting and Finance (experience in general ledger accounting is an advantage)
-
Master Data Management, preferably experienced with ERP systems and Enterprise Data Management systems

Implementing and managing policies, rules and KPIs
-
Designing and automating master data quality
-
Executing mass data cleansing projects with stakeholders in business domains

Supporting data product design & global improvement programs
