What will you be doing?
As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will become part of our Warehousing Project Engineering Department in Veghel. The Project Engineering Department is responsible for the execution of projects in which the different components (mechanical and electrical) of our material handling systems are implemented. Working under the supervision of a Project Leader, the Mechanical Project Engineer is part of a multidisciplinary team of Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Complete the 3D design from sketch to customer approval.
- Create the Bill of Material and ensure that your Supply Chain colleagues can deliver on time and within customer specifications.
- Support the site installation teams with your knowledge (either remote or on site).
- Solve any issues that you encounter, either during engineering or installation/commissioning phase of the project.
What do we ask from you?
To be successful in this role, you have at least a Bachelor in a technical area eg Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering.
Furthermore, you have/are:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing in English.
- An entrepreneurial spirit, anticipating and mitigating project risks, and dealing with issues in a practical environment.
- A cooperative mindset, enthusiastic to work in multidisciplinary, international teams, and like to share your knowledge with your coworkers.
- Willing to travel around 10% internationally.
About the team
The Project Engineering department is responsible for the worldwide execution of projects in which the different components (mechanical, electromechanical and controls) of our material handling systems are implemented. Working under the supervision of a Project Leader, closely working together with the Integration Manager, Layout and Electrical Engineers, the Controls Project Engineer is part of a multidisciplinary team of Engineers.
