Project Planner II

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Project Planner to join our project management team. The Project Planner will support the planning and execution of complex projects, utilizing Primavera P6 to track schedules, critical paths, update progress and supply chain logistics. This role offers the opportunity to grow within the company and develop essential project management skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Monitor project timelines, identify potential delays, and propose corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and installation, to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Track and report on project progress, highlighting critical path activities.
  • Support the integration and installation phases by ensuring alignment with the project schedule.
  • Participate in project meetings and document key actions and decisions.
  • Assist in the preparation of status reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6 or other project scheduling software is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% for project site visits and meetings.
  • Ability to work full time in Marietta office.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Internship or entry-level experience in project planning or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of material handling systems and supply chain logistics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
