As part of the team Quality Assurance Department you will take care of all coordination of solving product issues related to mechanical and /or controls equipment area assigned to you.
You will work in close cooperation with Project Engineers, R&D and Supply Chain Management in which you will act as an advisor and gatekeeper for maintaining the Vanderlande Quality Standard both for product and process standards.
You will thrive at acting as a main coordinator for physical product inspections that that are either carried on Vanderlande premises, on customer sites or at the location of the suplier. In addition, you will driving an important role in advising the Quality Engineers about product release risks and current or potential issues and plays a supporting role in root cause analysis investigations.
Your qualifications and skills
If you’re an experienced, enthusiastic and versatile quality assurance inspector, you will excel at:
Planning and performing measurements and inspections.
Monitoring measurements and inspections.
Solving quality problems and be pro-active in continues improvement.
Working and participating mainly within EU region and be part of a global team of QA professionals and willing to travel internationally up to 20-25%.
You should have a working knowledge of:
Geometrical Tolerancing and Dimensioning
Basic statistical knowledge (Like Histogram, Process capability etc.)
Applying problem solving methods (like 8D, PSDM, 5Why etc.)
International Management System Standards such as ISO9001/ NEN-EN 1090 etc.
Applying different styles and influencing techniques
Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written communication in English and preferable another foreign language.
Ability to think in business risks and opportunities
Being a self-starter and planner of own work
Mechanical parts production
Being a role model for QA Engineers and Inspectors.
