Job Title: Site Supervisor – Electrical – JR29085

Work Location: Taipei – Taiwan

Introduction:

Vanderlande is the global market leader in Airport & Parcel Solutions, and sorting systems for Warehouse Solutions.

As a Site Supervisor the role is to lead the site execution work and supervise multiple Site activities (Electrical) and multiple teams of contractors for electrical work. And in parallel to maintain Vanderlande's standard of execution , you will work with the project, procurement, Safety, Engineering, and Field Quality team for better Planning, Site Procurements, Safety Implementation, and Engineering changes

Responsibilities:

  • Organize on-site installation activity
  • Site preparation, logistics and administration; Contribute in creating the project installation schedule
  • Planning and monitoring of installation process
  • Instruct the installation team about technical and installation requirement
  • Perform quality checks on installation and installation process
  • Support the commissioning and test phase
  • User and maintenance training on the mechanical and electrical part of the system
  • Communication with customer, sub-contractors and VI engineering team from site
  • Site reporting and feedback to PM and Project Team about the progress and status
  • Create a safe working environment during the project installation phase 

Knowledge-Skills-Abilities (Competencies):

  • HSE certificate is preferred
  • Major in electrical is an advantage or Mechanical background with good knowledge of electrical
  • Understanding electrical drawings, schematic drawing, layout drawing, & specifications and documentation.
  • Able to debug wiring issue.
  • Knowledge of industrial automated Systems is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a similar sector, preferably in Material Handling and/or Baggage Handling system.
  • Experience with the installation of mechanical and electromechanical equipment in integrated  industrial systems is an advantage
  • Hands-on, stress resistant, willing to travel extensively for extended periods
  • Prepare weekly report, site related document. Any special document will explain how to do when work start.
  • Able to lead/ manage the installation team.
  • Able to take pressure during tied schedule.
  • Able to work unsupervised, take initiative and resolve issues
  • Good interpersonal skills (work well within a team)
