Your role
As Strategic Product Controller, your key objective is to continuously support our company in achieving its strategy of sustainable profitable growth. The main role is to support the market leading solutions team with identifying new products to be introduced to our portfolio, and to ensure business cases are completed and value tracking is performed. You will participate in the decision making to select our next products for development, be involved in realizing the value of the products for our customers and own the life-cycle of the development phase, from business case creation to managing the portfolio of intended investments in new products.
Your responsibilities
As a Strategic Product Controller, you will:

Drive the financial business planning / forecasting process, assessment of financial performance of the product within the program by reviewing and analyzing actual costs and investments and provide support in managing financial risks and opportunities.

Collaborate with senior management and business unit leaders to develop and implement strategic plans aligned with organizational goals.

Act as business partner for the team responsible for identifying new products to be introduced to our portfolio.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess business performance and track progress against targets.

Own the use of tools within the business case framework and review, and challenge business cases / plans using various data sources.

Pro-actively initiate and drive actions within the program to optimize results and mitigate risks.

Report on progress with R&D once New Products are approved for development.

Work with the Pricing team on pricing models, looking at the full E2E process.
Your department
As a Strategic Product Controller, you are part of the R&D Controlling Team. While you are part of the R&D controlling team, you will be highly involved in the product teams. In addition, you will contribute to overarching continuous improvement projects. All Controllers in this team are active members of the business team they support and act as business partners and the financial conscience of the teams they partner with.
Your profile

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

Minimum of 5 years of relevant Business Control experience in an international corporate environment

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

Solid understanding of new product introduction in addition to sales, project & service control
-
Ability to quickly identify and leverage commonalities to create meaningful connections.

Ambitious, confident, self-motivated and energetic individual

Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to prioritize appropriately and meet deadlines

Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with personnel throughout the company

Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools

An excellent command of the English language (both verbal and written). Dutch or other languages would be advantageous.

This position offers a competitive salary range of €5280 to €7100 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
