Our relationship with our customers is important to us – and you can make your own mark in this context. As a Project Engineer Sales, you create an important contribution along the entire sales success of one of our key accounts.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist Sales Managers and Sales Engineers during the project pre-contract phase in identifying and analyzing customer needs, and help translate them into a successful sales concept

  • Contribute to solving complex technical and business issues, particularly through data and process analysis and concept development during the offer phase, and support in consulting with clients to meet their requirements

  • Support the development of concepts and quotations within the team to ensure the creation of competitive and high-quality proposals

  • Assist in converting Material Flow Diagrams into layouts in cooperation with a Sales Layout Engineer and in translating these layouts into detailed pricing specifications

  • Help manage pricing specifications for multiple projects and assist in setting up technical specifications for procurement items

  • Participate in the handover phase to operations and the project implementation phase on-site, ensuring a smooth transition and implementation

  • Prepare quotations and compliance lists while providing support as an expert on Key Account-specific requirements

What do we ask from you?

  • Completed a degree in mechanical engineering,
    logistics or a comparable field of study

  • First experience with complex sales processes, ideally within the automated material handling industry or a related industry

  • Analytical skills, you can create concept solutions based on your analysis and understanding of our customers' logistic processes.

  • Proficient communicational skills, you have a creative and efficient approach to building professional client relationships

  • Experience in working within an international professional environment, preferably a project-driven organization

  • Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written, as well as willingness to travel up to 30%
