Your position

As a Software Engineer your main functions/ tasks will be:

  • Software development for automated logistics solutions;
  • Interfaces development for other related systems;
  • Run unit tests;
  • Support to unit test team when needed;
  • Upholder in Installations Start up.

You will be working closely with the Controls Engineers, the Project Managers and the other Engineers from the Engineering department.

Your profile

As a Software Engineer within Vanderlande Spain, we are looking for a person with the follow experience and skills:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering or Computer Software Engineering and a strong preference to work within a business to business environment;
  • More than 3 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Preference experience within the logistic sector and material handling;
  • Strong skills and experience in software development with C# and Visual Studio.Net;
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP interfaces;
  • Strong analytical skills, the ability to use your logistic skills in analyzing and understanding customer processes, creating concept solutions;
  • Strong communicational skills and a creative approach to build professional client relationships;
  • Ability to work within an international work environment, especially working within a project organization;
  • Good language skills in English (B2), both verbal and written, and a high level of Spanish (B2).
  • Willingness to travel within Europe and LatinAmerica.
