Your team
As an ICT Service Consultant you will be part of the Data Governance team, which is part of the Central Data Organization that in turn reports to the CIO. This fairly new department shows the ambition and direction set by Vanderlande to become a data driven company.
The Central Data Organization focuses on the further professionalization of Vanderlande’s information needs to facilitate and support the company’s worldwide objectives. In a fast-growing, complex international environment we focus on one way of working, by optimizing and embedding our processes through further digitalization and automation.
The Data Governance team is accountable for the governance, monitoring and improvement of data (quality) in the organization globally by enforcing policies, processes and procedures, in collaboration with the Business Domain Data Stewards, by means of a federated approach, supported by state of the art Data Management solutions, in our case Microsoft Purview.
What you will be doing?
As an ICT Service Consultant you will work closely with key users and inspire them to benefit the most out of the system. Furthermore you will follow developments in the market and keep improving the system based on those developments.
Within you role you will provide technical and functional support for the business users. You will work closely with the team members of the Central Analytics Organisation and Central Data Organisation to further integrate Microsoft Purview within the data landscape of Vanderlande.
In this role you will also have the possibility to extend your knowledge to the Microsoft Azure Platform to further support the business.
As an ICT Service Consultant you will focus on the following attention areas:

Responsible for the execution and improvement of services and ensure that the Solution and resources are capable and available

Represent the solution and primary customer contact for solution related queries, issues and inquiries. Communicate on major issues.

Become the subject matter expert for Microsoft Purview and work together with Business Domain Data Stewards for further improvement of the application

Work with Business Customers, ICT leaders and corporate architecture to ensure the delivered solution meet the cost quality and delivery targets.

Direct and coordinates the efforts of people to accomplish the task
What do we ask from you?
If you have a HBO degree in ICT or data related field and experience on Data Management Solutions (Microsoft Purview is a benefit) in an international and multi-cultural environment and you excel at the topics mentioned below, then we are looking for you! You have:

Technical and Functional understanding of Data Governance and Data Management functions and solutions.

The ability of refining and implementing the data governance application.
-
Ability to cooperate & collaborate with e.g. Data Governance Stewards, Business Domain Data Stewards and Product Manager Analytics.

Strong communication (English) and problem-solving skills.
-
Experience in training, presenting to stakeholders.
You should have experience with:

Data governance, data management functions as represented in the DAMA DMBoK framework.

Implementing and and maintaining a data management application (like e.g. Stibo, Tibco, Informatica)..

Transferring knowledge about the data management application to all layers in the organization through setting up and giving training courses

Agile/SCRUM way of working
