Assignment
- The Smart Item Robots (SIR) are part of our FASTPICK concept to automate the order fulfillment for general merchandise and fashion warehousing customers, replacing operators in an e-commerce operation. For the development it is important to know which kind of capacity the robot (and whole solution) can achieve during its operation. However, this depends on different factors such as items to be picked, arrival and departure of totes, capacity of robot, ect. As of this moment there is no easy way to determine the capacity of the solution without having detailed knowledge of the total system. Having a tool to visualize the dependencies and impact of certain changes will benefit the Technology/Sales/Engineering department to come up with the best solution as possible.
Department
