Maintenance Manager – Site Based Service Team

Vanderlande have a small site-based Service team at the Tesco site at Greenford. The DC has an automated materials handling system and runs 18/7 to support a network home delivery across the South West UK. The site team provide 18/7 support to the operation to ensure high system availability and the fulfilment of customer orders.
General management of local service team (5 FTE) and responsible for the execution of the service contract.
Budget Management and cost control.
Contact person towards the customer for all operational and technical issues.

As a local ambassador of Vanderlande you will be responsible for the day-to-day Maintenance, Customer Satisfaction, Contract Management, Continuous Improvement, People, Reporting and Finance.
Drive to Win
Manage and improve customer relations. Identify sales opportunities. Reporting responsibilities, internal and external.

Proven background in the Service & Maintenance of complex automated plant & equipment.
An assertive individual with strong man-management and customer liaison skills.
Analytical ability to structure and lead the resolution of system-related problems.
General understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Competent user of MS Office applications able to use excel to an advance level
Flexibility to undertake ad-hoc UK & European travel as required.
