  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of electrical projects to support logistics operations, including warehouse automation systems, material handling equipment, and facility infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and IT, to gather requirements, develop project specifications, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments to evaluate project viability and develop comprehensive project plans.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time delivery and within allocated budget constraints.
  • Oversee the selection and procurement of electrical components, systems, and vendors, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members, including engineers, technicians, and contractors, to resolve technical issues and ensure project success.
  • Conduct thorough testing, commissioning, and quality assurance procedures to validate system performance and functionality.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including project plans, technical specifications, and as-built drawings, to support project documentation and knowledge transfer.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in electrical engineering and logistics to drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization efforts for existing electrical systems and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field;
  • Minimum [6] years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on project management and implementation in the [Material Handling Equipment] industry.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Strong technical proficiency in electrical design, automation systems, PLC programming, and industrial controls.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex electrical projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Proficiency in Eplan, AutoCAD, Navisworks and Microsoft Office Suite.
