Your Department:
The Global Spare Parts Department is part of the Business Unit Supply. The Global Spare Parts team is end-to-end responsible for the spare parts activities for Vanderlande’s Customer Centers (CC’s) and their customers. Global Spare Parts is organized in three departments.
Global Spare Parts
- Spare Parts Marketing & Development:
enhances the parts portfolio through Product Life Cycle management, digitalization, and B2B e-commerce, overseeing pricing, content, and stakeholder relations.
Managing strategic projects, system enhancements, user adoption, and process optimization for long-term value.
- Spare Parts Logistics: manages the central parts warehouse and is responsible for all in- and outbound warehouse activities. They manage stock-levels, lead-times and on-time shipment and delivery of parts from suppliers and deliveries to the global Vanderlande customer base.
- Spare Parts Sales Solution: supports the global customer base with spare parts offerings throughout the life-time of the material handling assets. This includes the development of initial spare parts packages and day to day technical and commercial spare parts support. The department advises customers to optimize the on-site stock availability.
Spare Parts is an essential part of the Service Proposition and contributes significantly to the company's operating results.
Your position
As a Service Development Consultant you are proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset. You will take ownership of complex challenges, developing and implementing strategic solutions that integrate across functional areas. You will lead functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget control, and stakeholder alignment. Additionally, you will act as a sparring partner for management, ensuring the successful acceptance and operationalization of solutions.
As a key link between business and IT, you will define requirements, prioritize features, and align stakeholders to ensure that systems effectively support business goals and operational efficiency. By leading system enhancements, driving user adoption, and fostering continuous improvement, you will play a crucial role in optimizing processes and delivering long-term value.
Your key responsibilities will be:

Lead cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget control, and stakeholder alignment.

Act as a strategic advisor to management, ensuring successful adoption and operationalization of solutions.

Your profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach.

Proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects in a dynamic environment.

Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
