System Test Engineer (Linesorters/SPOX)

Your department
The Technology department (former Research and Development) plays a key role in the continuous development of new products and technologies in order to strengthen our position on the market and differentiate our products. Together with your team, which consist of approximately 20 test engineers, you will be responsible for SW and HW integration testing of cutting-edge technical solutions. You also contribute to setting up the test competence and implementing improvements.
Your position
As a System Test Engineer/Integration Engineer, you are responsible for verifying and validating complex multidisciplinary products, such as robotics, mechanics, electronics and software in one of Vanderlande’s market segment like Baggage Handling for Airports and Automated Logistics in Warehouses and Parcel distribution.
You will be challenged technically and be responsible for a (risk based) test strategy so you can guarantee a good quality and functionality. You deliver input for test plans, based on the relevant product criteria, the client application and the requirements applicable.
You will implement these test plans in an emulated environment, on the actual system in our Innovation Center or ‘on site’, paying careful attention to the analysis of any problems that arise. You will report the problems and work together with the project team to deliver a prompt, high-quality solution.
Your profile

A technical Bachelor's or Master's degree;
-
You have knowledge and affinity with (system) testing;

You are familiar with test plans and risk analyses to propose improvements on a tactical level;

Knowledge of DevOps, Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery is an advantage

You have certificates or you are willing to learn in ISTQB or TMAP;

Able to speak and document in the English language.
