What will you be doing?​

In the role of Director Group Financial Control, you have a company-wide scope. Your tasks and responsibilities will in large part be centered around internal and external IFRS compliant financial reporting.

You and your team will be involved in executing strategic programs. 

Responsibilities​

Overall, you will be responsible for: 

  • Reliable and IFRS compliant monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting to our shareholder (Toyota Industries Corporation) 

  • Accurate and timely monthly financial reporting to Board of Management and Supervisory Board 

  • Annual preparation of Financial Statements and Sustainability report of Vanderlande 

  • Developing and maintaining the global Vanderlande Accounting Manual  

  • Acting as a knowledgeable accounting business partner for the businesses and functions 

  • Contributing to a J-Sox compliant control environment 

  • Managing the process around the quarterly reviews and year-end audits by our auditor  

What do we ask from you?​

For this challenging, responsible and exciting role you need to bring: 
 

  • A Master degree in Accountancy including a CPA certification or equivalent 

  • 15+ years of work experience in international business environments and/or audit firm (big-four) 

  • Proven experience in financial reporting (incl. detailed knowledge of IFRS) 

  • Excellent communication skills, able to act as a true business partner 

  • Leadership and accountability 

  • Ability to influence stakeholders (e.g. Board, senior management, Business). 

  • Focus on people management and collaboration 

  • Flexibility, ability to work under time pressure and hands-on mentality 

  • Excellent English language skills 

  • Continuous improvement mindset   

About the team​

In the position of Director Group Financial Control, you will report directly into the Executive Director Global Finance. The role is based in our headquarters in Veghel (The Netherlands).

Your team consists of 5 members located in Veghel (The Netherlands) and Pune (India). Your key customers and stakeholders include Toyota Industries Corporation, Business Control, Treasury, Tax, Sustainability team, Audit Committee, CFO and external auditor.

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 7.200 to € 9.100 gross per month Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
