Your assignment
Would you like to participate in the testing and validation of material handling solutions for the warehouse market? Vanderlande is continuously developing equipment that need to withstand demanding requirements to be able to cope with a rise in products to be handled over our conveyor systems.
You will assist in setting up the test environment and test tooling of the different use cases. Furthermore, you will ensure that our test areas are organized and maintained.
Next to that you will assist in testing our conveyor systems against the functional requirements and product / capacity variances that are present. Your input in testing in a smart and efficient way is highly appreciated.
Your department
You will be part of the Conveying WS team, within the Technology department of Vanderlande. The Conveying WS team is responsible for the development of new products and maintaining existing portfolio of material handling systems for the Warehouse, Parcel & Postal market.
The Conveying WS team counts about 30 people and consists of
Product Owners, architecture, integration-, mechanical-, electrical- and PLC-engineers. The student will be part of this team and report via the mentor to the team members.
Your responsibilities
- Hands-on support in testing in our test centre
- Organizing and improving our test areas
- Preparing and executing test cases in our test centre (under supervision)
- Data analysis (in Microsoft Excel) and documentation of test results
Your Profile
- Structured way of working
- Proactive and practical hands-on attitude.
- Attention for details.
- Experience with system testing and accelerated testing (HALT, HASS, HASA) is a pre.
- Mandatory enrolment in a Dutch Education System and resident of The Netherlands
