Your Position:

As the Maintenance & Spare Parts Coordinator in an Automated Case Picking facility, you'll manage the service contract strategically. Your focus will be on long-term planning to ensure the availability of spare parts, considering lifespan, usage patterns, and demand forecasts. Key responsibilities include forecasting spare parts demand, maintaining stock levels, and overseeing procurement, storage, and inventory management.

You will make strategic decisions on stock replenishment, identify inventory gaps, and plan for future maintenance needs. Your forward-thinking approach will ensure service contract goals are met by developing strategies for spare parts availability, anticipating demands from equipment failure rates, usage cycles, and seasonal needs, ensuring smooth facility operations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage a CMMS like Maximo to track maintenance, manage inventory, and monitor performance metrics.

  • Set a clear vision, foster collaboration, and promote accountability and continuous learning. Provide actionable feedback and encourage open communication to support team growth and goal alignment.

  • Set objectives, conduct reviews, and use data-driven insights for performance and development decisions. Mentor team members, create development plans, and support career growth through coaching.

  • Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with policies and OH&S procedures, and prioritize employee well-being. Manage spare parts inventory, including purchase orders, supplier liaison, and delivery monitoring.

  • Conduct regular inventory audits and manage procurement system housekeeping. Support maintenance planning and work orders, analyse parts usage and asset performance, and compile equipment information.

  • Facilitate effective relationships with all departments, liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, and drive performance improvement.

  • Promote an inclusive culture, advocate for training opportunities, and encourage proactive issue resolution.

  • Analyse operational data for quality control and recommend improvements.

  • Support emergency escalations and ensure CMMS reporting compliance.
