Data Governance and ownership is changing, we introduced an integrated Data Platform and move away from outdated technology. In addition, people data is more important than ever before and therefore a crucial enabler in our HR strategy.
The Vanderlande HR organization has a global presence, with HR Business Partners, People Services and Centers of Expertise (CoEs). Our CoEs advise, define the overall direction and work with HR and business to realize changes. You will be part of the Global CoE HR Technology & Data. You will report to the HR Technology & Data CoE Lead who is a member of the Global HR Leadership team.
What you will be doing?
The People Analytics Lead is responsible for the People Analytics strategy and multi-year roadmap infusing your vision, market perspectives & business needs. You are responsible for defining, managing and implementing initiatives of the HR Data capability. You will be in direct contact with a variety of stakeholders within the HR and ICT function, the Central Data team, and Business. You work with and empower others to jointly deliver on our promise. What else will you be doing:
- Align the corporate data strategy with our HR People Analytics strategy, translation into concrete HR initiatives & action plans. As part of those plans, integrate change and communication to increase adoption and maturity
- Define, prioritize and socialize the People Analytics roadmap. Manage, monitor and communicate on progress accordingly
- Drive opportunities & proactively manage the roadmap covering projects/initiatives. Lead and work with others within the community to execute and deliver
- Establish the People Analytics capability & Data Governance. Ensure analytics is recurring on the agenda and owned, steered and supported. Design and implement processes for the People Analytics capability. Raise the level of data literacy in the organization and drive capability building within the HR function and with Business Leaders
- Act as a trusted advisor and main Point of Contact for the organization (i.e. HR Function and other stakeholders). Answer new questions and provide leadership and direction in building out our journey. Represent HR in non-HR forums (e.g. Data Platform with other BU Leads)
- Provide thought leadership (i.e., data integration, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, statistics, data visualization, business intelligence). Connect market developments and initiatives to Vanderlande’s business, recognize and shape opportunities. Build compelling value propositions to identify high value use cases. Deliver innovative, efficient and cost-effective solutions to meet enterprise information needs and to drive business growth and profitability.
- Influence, engage, inspire and build coalition at various levels; e.g. HRLT, HR topic owners, People Services, the Central Data Organization, Business Leaders
- Work closely together with the Workday Reporting Specialist(s) to translate business needs into system requirements and to guide delivery.
What do we expect from you?
- Strong analytical understanding and the ability to see the big picture without losing sight of details
- Strong expertise & proven track record in People Analytics, change and transformation
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in the field of HR (Cloud) transformation out of which at least 4 years of Workday experience
- Experience in program management, preferable with a background a consultant / implementation partner. A Project Management qualification is preferred
- Excellent communication skills working with (senior) stakeholders. High customer orientation, strong advising skills and the ability to target communication to the audience
- Experience with Workday Advanced Reporting is a must. Experience with other solutions is a plus
- Experience with Data Governance and Compliance including processes/protocols
- Experience with Continuous Improvement & operational excellence
- Flexibility and a true builder. Ability to lead and enjoy the, sometimes bumpy, road to success

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 6.800 to € 8.250 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
