Introduction to role

We are seeking a dedicated Continuous Improvement Manager to lead our efforts in implementing process improvements. The Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing operational efficiency strategies, analyzing business practices, and recommending new improvement methods and techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Lean methodologies, superb analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.

Role Responsibilities

The Continuous Improvement Manager focus is on optimizing the performance of the project execution organization by initiating changes that enhance efficiency, reduce waste and drive business growth. The Continuous Improvement Manager has a significant role in implementing quality management and lean methodologies in the project execution organization and primary duties and responsibilities include:

Your responsibilities and activities will include:

  • Lead and manage continuous improvement projects
  • Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement
  • Implement new operational efficiency initiatives
  • Drive the development and implementation of Lean methodology
  • Collaborate with teams and individuals to understand processes, and promote adoption of improvement measures
  • Monitor and report on the status of improvement projects
  • Provide training and guidance to team members about process improvement and Lean methodologies
  • Measure and analyze improvement project outcomes
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with the company’s strategic goals
  • Analyzing and understanding processes in various departments, identifying areas of waste or inefficiency
  • Developing and executing improvement strategies, including change management activities
  • Leading and facilitating cross-functional project teams
  • Conducting continuous improvement training and workshops for staff at all levels
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and making necessary adjustments
  • Using a range of tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen to drive process improvements
  • Maintaining reports of continuous improvement activities and presenting progress to senior management
  • Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement within the organization
  • Working closely with other managers and stakeholders to ensure that changes are implemented smoothly and efficiently

Role Qualification and Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Continuous Improvement Manager or similar role
  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Strong project management skills
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • BSc degree in Business Administration, Engineering or relevant field
