Hva skal du gjøre?
Som Field Service Engineer er du 'ambassadør' for Vanderlande Industries ut mot våre kunder.
Hovedoppgave din er å utføre service/ inspeksjoner og vedlikeholde/reparere våre systemer i henhold til kontraktsavtaler og i samråd med kundene. Som Field Service Engineer reiser du over hele Norden til våre kunder, hvor varigheten kan variere fra noen dager til noen uker.
Du vil inngå i et FSE team med kollegaer i Norge, Sverige og Danmark.
Dine oppgaver og ditt ansvar:

Du er ansvarlig for gjennomføring av forebyggende og korrigerende vedlikehold på våre systemer, som avtalt med kunden.

Du forbereder dine kundebesøk. For å gjøre dette samler du inn informasjon og analyserer tidligere besøk og har forberdende møter med Service contract management.

Under og etter arbeidet på kundens systemer gir du en grundig rapportering av utførte inspeksjoner og vedlikehold.

I de tilfeller at det oppstår en funksjonsfeil på kundens system, vil du være en av de som inngår i en vaktordning 24/7 på roterende basis til å løse problemene.

Det kan også bli aktuelt å jobbe med vår prosjektavdeling mot nye prosjekter og utvidelser av eksisternde systemer.

Du har også følgende kompetanse:

Fagbrev innen Automasjon, Elektro eller Elektro mekanisk er et krav.

Kunnskap om og erfaring med elektromekaniske systemer.

Kjennskap til styringer, PLS/IPC/kommunikasjon/data

Gode kommunikasjonsevner på norsk og engelsk skriftlig og muntlig
-
Erfaring innen logistikk, lagerautomatisering, post/pakke- eller bagasjesorteringssystemer er en fordel

Inngå i en roterende 24/7 vaktordning

I jobben inngår det en del reisevirksomhet.

What are you going to do?
As a Field Service Engineer you are the 'ambassador' of Vanderlande Industries during the entire operational phase of the customer. An important part of your work is checking/maintaining/repairing the system in accordance with contract agreements in consultation with the customer and reporting the findings. As a Field Service Engineer you travel throughout the Nordics. Sometimes to customer locations abroad, where the duration can vary from a few days to a few weeks. You will join a Field Service Engineering team with colleagues in Norway Sweden and Denmark
You have the following tasks and responsibilities:

You are responsible for proper implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance on the material handling system, as contractually agreed with the customer.

You prepare visits to a customer. To do this, you collect project information and analyze previous visits and have preparation meeting with the Service Contract Manager.

After and during your work on site, you provide thorough reporting of the inspections or maintenance carried out.

In the unlikely event that a malfunction occurs in the system, you will be the designated person on a rotating basis in a 24/7 service to resolve it independently.

You may also be able to implement/support projects initiated by the service organization as a project engineer.
About the team

The department is a service organization that operates within the Nordics for Parcel, Warehousing an Airport customers.

The team provides the full range of services to our automated material handling systems.

We have a main office located at Lysaker, Oslo where our service department is located
-
We also have a site based team supporting the baggage handling system at Oslo Airport.
What do we ask of you?
In the position of Field Service Engineer you make an important contribution to the goal of achieving the highest possible customer satisfaction, and becoming the preferred supplier for automated material handling services in the Nordics and worldwide. You therefore are flexible, have enthusiasm, curiosity, a pro-active attitude and a Drive to Win. You also have the following competencies:

A strong focus on working safely

Automatiker Fagbrev or similar in electrical, electro-mechanical engineering a requirement
-
Knowledge of and experience with electro-mechanical systems
-
Knowledge of controls (including PLC/Industrial PCs) and bus systems is an advantage
-
Good communication skills and good command of the Norwegian and English language
-
Experience in the field of logistics, warehouse automation, mail or baggage sorting systems is an advantage
-
Willingness to enter a 24/7 breakdown services rotation
-
Willingness to travel internationally
-
Willingness to work night shifts and weekends
-
In possession of driving license B
