Is the position still open?
Yes, as long as the role is advertised, we are still open for applications. However, this does not mean that we are not yet interviewing, so if you are a good match with the profile please apply as soon as possible.
Are you open to international candidates?
Absolutely. We are a global organization and part of our success lies in the diversity of our workforce.
Should I send in a Dutch or English resume?
Preferably send your resume in English. Vanderlande is an international organization and English is our official company language. However, this does not mean that we don’t take Dutch resumes into consideration.
Does Vanderlande have a working from home policy?
Yes, we maintain a hybrid workplace (40% working from home and 60% in the office) with flexible hours.
Is public transportation fully reimbursed?
Yes, at Vanderlande we think it is important to create a sustainable workplace. Therefore, we fully reimburse public transportation for our employees.
Is there a training budget?
Yes, Vanderlande has its own Vanderlande Academy. Here you can fulfil your ambitions for professional as well as personal development. We will give you the necessary knowledge, tools and support, so that together we have the confidence and ability to exceed our customers’ expectations.
How does Vanderlande support me with my relocation to the Netherlands?
If you consider to relocate to the Netherlands, we will definitely help you and immediate family joining you. Vanderlande supports with obtaining a work and/or residence permit, finding a home and settling-in. We will make sure that you are ready for your journey at your new job!
What do I need to prepare for an interview?
Help us get to know you by explaining how your prior experience and successes have prepared you for the job you’ve applied for. Review the job description and do a bit of research on our company. Come with a few examples in mind that demonstrate your strengths, ask questions you have about the opportunity, and be open.
Will interviews take place at the office or are remote interviews also possible?
Both options are possible, but we highly prefer at least one interview on-site. And be honest: it’s a great opportunity for yourself to discover Vanderlande HQ in real life.
What does the company culture look like?
A motivational letter is not required. However, in some cases it could be smart if you do add it to your resume. Explain why you’re qualified for the job and connect your experience to Vanderlande’s needs
