Vanderlande Engineering Nights 17, 18 and 19 May 2021

Have you always wanted to know what the role of an engineer looks like at Vanderlande? Vanderlande is looking for talent to strengthen the organization. The Vanderlande Engineering Nights gives students and young professionals the opportunity to become digitally acquainted with the organization and learn more about the role that interests you.

The Engineering Nights will start at 19:00 and end at 20:30. The program includes a company introduction, followed by a presentation about the specific role with the opportunity to ask questions and we will end with a virtual tour through our Innovation Center.

We have limited spots available for the Vanderlande Engineering Nights. Therefore we are unfortunately forced to make a selection among the registrations. You will be informed whether you have obtained a spot for the evening(s) you signed up for.

Mechanical Project Engineer

Lay-out Engineer

As a Lay-out Engineer, you have the opportunity to work on interesting, international projects together with a multidisciplinary team of engineers. Your department is responsible for the design, specification, commissioning and testing of material handling systems for our customers. As a Lay-out Engineer, you will develop the 3D lay out for the material handling system solution. Current Lay-out Engineers state that if you really like to puzzle, this role will definitely fit you.

Controls Project Engineer

As Controls Project Engineer you design and program PLC controls for our material handling systems at our office in Veghel, meeting high quality demands on a project basis. During the engineering phase you work closely together with a multidisciplinary project team to deliver a Functional Specification. After that, you are responsible for the detailed design, programming, and testing of the PLC software. When the engineering phase is finished, you will go to the customer site to do the commissioning of the conveyor system. The customer site can be anywhere in the world. When you are looking for a role that allows you to combine controls engineering and travelling around the world then look no further.

Electrical Project Engineer

As Electrical Project Engineer, you have a key role in the total electrical design; from power distribution, right up to preparing the bill of materials for all the required electrical components. An important aspect of your work will be producing the control diagrams, using network technologies such as Profinet, and AS-i bus. You will provide the design and drawing sets for the manufacturing of the electrical enclosures and the total cabling specification, from materials right through to the installation drawings and assembly instructions for the installer. It will be your task to make the detailed design and to explain it to the installer. Do you think you are up to the challenge to work as an Electrical Project Engineer?
